The University of South Carolina Upstate Library renovation showcases how high-performance façade systems can elevate both architectural design and building performance. Designed by Moseley and installed by Tidewater Building Group, the project recently earned top honors as the 2026 Metal Architecture Design Awards – Metal Composite Materials Category Winner, recognizing its outstanding use of metal composite materials in architectural design.
East Coast Metal Systems fabricated and supplied 4,400 sq. ft. of its EC-200 Dry Joint MCM System™ using Alucobond® 4mm FR ACM. The project included 381 precision-fabricated panels—309 in New Age Dark Bronze and 72 in Oyster—creating a clean, contemporary façade that delivers exceptional durability, constructability, and long-term performance.
