East Coast Metal Systems (ECMS) contributed its EC-200 Dry Joint MCM System™ and OVERLY Evolution® Roofing to the striking 10-story Fifth and Halket development.
Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, 1461 S Blue Island also known as The Rosie, is a mixed-use development in a part of Chicago known as Little Italy. Previously a vacant lot, the developers aimed to provide opportunity and incentive to an economically distressed area of the city. ECMS fabricated over 16,725 square feet of slab edge covers for this project that provided a sleek, modern exterior to this progressive location. As a certified Premium MCM Fabricator, East Coast Metal Systems was able to meet the needs – and exceed the expectations – of all parties involved.
